Preposition (Part-6)

1.Into:
(a) गतिशीलता ( किसी चीज के अन्दर की ओर गति करना) बताने में-
1. He fell  into the well.
2. Let us go into the garden.
3. He threw his notebook into the fire.
4. The frog jumped into the water.
(b) दशा या स्थिति में परिवर्तन, घटना के परिणाम को दर्शाने में-
1. Shagun translated these sentences into English.
2. She burst into tears.
3. Water changed into ice.
(c) समय के अर्थ में समय की अवधि के साथ -
    He often works late into the night.
2. In front of- ठीक सामने 
1. There are some trees in front of my office.
3. Of-
(a) shows connection or relation- सम्बन्ध दर्शाने के अर्थ में
1. Renu is one of our friends.
(b) reason or cause- कारण या प्रभाव बताने के लिए
1.She died of cholera.
(c) निम्न शब्दों के साथ प्रयोग में-
 proud of, afraid of, fond of, glad of, tired of, ashamed of, accused of, desirous of,आदि
(d) Indicates material used but not changed जब किसी वस्तु के निर्माण के बाद वस्तु का रूप नहीं बदलता है तो उसे बताने के लिए-
1. This chair is made of wood.
2. Her frock is made of silk.
3. This necklace is made of gold.
4. On- (ऊपर या पर)
 (a) किसी चीज के ऊपर धरातल को छूते हुए-
1. The bag is on the table.
2. The book is on the chair.
3. He is sitting on the grass.
(b) Before days and dates- दिनों और तारीखों से पहले
1. Ramesh will go to Jaipur on Monday.
2. She was born on 15th August, 2006.
3. People worship Goddess Sarasvati on Basant Panchmi.
(c) किसी व्यक्ति या किसी वस्तु के बारे में -about, concerning a perosn, topic or subject
1. He is writing a book on Munshi Prem Chand.
(d)दिशा बताने और कार्य में व्यस्तता दर्शाने में -
1. I am on leave these days.
2. Savita met me on the way.
(e) स्थिति या दशा बताने के लिए और निर्भरता बताने के लिए-showing dependence, state or condition.
1. Raj lives on writing.
2. The building is on fire.
(f) निम्न phrases के साथ on का प्रयोग होता है-
on account of, on hearing this/that, on the whole, on purpose, on the contrary, on foot, on fire, on sale, on behalf of, on loan, on interest
5. Over- 
(a) बिना स्पर्श किये हुए ठीक ऊपर (without touching)
1. The sky is over our heads.
2. Many aeroplanes fly over the Indian Ocean.
(b) किसी तल को आंशिक या पूरी तरह ढकने के अर्थ में-
1. She spread her handkerchief over the sweet dishes.
2. She put her blazer over the girl.
(c) More than (अधिक संख्या के अर्थ में)-
1. He is over thirty.
(d) आदेश, नियंत्रण, अधिकार, श्रेष्ठता आदि व्यक्त करने के लिए indicating superiority in rank or authority, showing command, control etc.
1. The English ruled over our country.
2. Shreya has no control over her emotions.
(e) From one side to the other-एक छोर से दूसरे छोर तक आर-पार के अर्थ में 
1. There was a bridge over the river.
6. Since-
(a) To indicate a point of time in Perfect and perfect continuous Tenses
1. I have been living in Udaipur Since 1998.
2. They have been reading this book since Monday.
( Perfect tenses में since का प्रयोग समय के उस बिंदु के लिए होता है जो भूतकाल से अब तक चला आया हो या आगे चलने की संभावना हो)
Point of Time के examples-
Since Sunday, since morning, since June, since 4 O'clock, since evening, since birth...
7.Through
(a) From one side to another in a closed place (घिरे हुए या बंद स्थान में एक तरफ से दूसरी तरफ के अर्थ में)
1. He walked through the forest.
2. Sun rays came through the window.
3. The train is moving through a tunnel.
(b) कारण बताने के लिए-
1. She ran away through fear.
2. The window was broken by Ranu through her carelessness.
3. He succeeded through hard work.
(c) Indicating means or agency-साधन या माध्यम बताने  के लिए
1. I got this job through a minister's recommendation.
2. Our library gets magazines and journals through the local newspaper agency.
(d) सफलतापूर्वक समाप्त करने पर-
1. Mohan got through his examination.
