Words which commonly confused
1. Lair (माँद )- The tiger was lying in the lair.
Layer (परत)- The upper layer of the earth is not very hard everywhere.
2. Late (देर से)- He came here late.
Let (allow)- Let him go to play.
3. Lead (सीसा)- Lead is a hard metal.
Led (guided)- He led me to his house.
4. Lightning (आसमान में बिजली)- The boy was afraid of lightning.
Lightening (प्रकाशित करना)-They were lightening their houses.
5. License (verb)- (लाइसेंस देना)- He was licensed to sell opium.
Licence (Noun)- The Govt gave him a licence to sell opium.
6. Lid (ढक्कन)- Where is the lid of this box?
Lead (राह बताना)- A leader who cannot lead himself!
7. Momentary (क्षणिक)- Such pleasure is momentary.
Momentous (significant)- It was really a momentous decision.
8. Metal (धातु)- Iron is useful metal.
Mettle (साहस)- He showed his mettle in the battle.
9. Mail (डाक)- Send your letter by the morning mail.
Male (पुरुष)- Male is the opposite of female.

Notifiable (that must be notified)- Such diseases are notifiable to the authorities.
