Active and Passive Voice (Part-1)
Passive Voice केवल उन्हीं वाक्यों के बन सकते है जिनमें मुख्य क्रिया Transitive Verb (सकर्मक) हो| जैसे- 1.They laugh. 2. He sleeps. इन वाक्यों की क्रियाएं Intransitive Verbs हैं अतः इन वाक्यों को हम Passive Voice में नहीं बदल सकते| In English, Transitive Verbs can have two voices- 1. Active Voice 2. Passive Voice 1. Active Voice- When the grammatical subject of the verb is also the doer of the action, the verb is said to be in active voice. 2. Passive Voice- When the grammatical subject of the verb is not the doer of the action and is in fact the receiver of that action. such as- My mother is reading a book.(Active) A book is being read by my mother.
